Mother's Day Watercolor Cardmaking 

(Ages 12+)

Participants will create personal greeting cards for mom, as they learn watercolor line and wash. Watercolorist, Tina Drew, demonstrates in this friendly and relaxing session. Participants are invited to explore their own compositions as well! All materials provided. No previous experience necessary.

Gouache and Watercolor Week

 (Grades 5-8)

Description: In this weeklong class, Tina Stroud Drew teaches a variety of gouache and watercolor concepts, including transparency, opacity, and color mixing. Participants experiment with brush shapes and application methods, while learning how gouache and watercolor complement one another in painting and illustration. Participants leave with a week's worth of practice references and finished works showcasing their creative voice. All materials provided. No experience necessary.

Emily Meyer guides participants and their grownups through a fun-filled gallery experience, including songs, stories, and gallery games, as well as an art creation experience in our JCA workshops. Participants must have one attending grownup. Specially designed for ages 4-6. Registration only necessary for each participating child aged 4-6. Smaller siblings welcome. Lessons vary monthly. Door #15 to the galleries will open to registrants at 8:50 a.m.

Watercolor Paint and Pencils

In this weeklong class, participants learn to incorporate watercolor pencils into their paintings, while also experimenting with a variety of watercolor techniques, salt, foam, and brush shapes.
