Open Drawing Studio is facilitated by professional artist and muralist, Elizabeth Wertman of Blondebrush. Artists ages 16+ of every caliber and discipline are welcome. A graduate of Herron School of Art and Design, Elizabeth guides patrons through a two-hour studio drawing session, including warm-ups, brain and hand exercises, and timed drawings. Each session ends with group sharing. Come to participate or simply to free-draw. Elizabeth provides feedback, answer questions, and offers instruction, when prompted. Artists bring and use their own sketchbooks, pads, loose papers, and dry mediums. Supplies are provided for creative experimentation, such as markers, charcoal, and soft pastel. Cost per session $5. Cash only, collected upon arrival. Sign-in sheet provided. No registration necessary.
